From the Danville Advocate Messenger, 16 April 2003 MORELAND -- Services for Ernest Eugene Richards, 58, of Hustonville will be 2 p.m. Thursday at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home by G.W. Smith and James Lynn. Burial will be in Hustonville Cemetery. He died Monday at University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center. Born Dec. 29, 1944, in Casey County, he was the son of the late Ernest and Myrtle Snow Richards. He was an employee of Jackson of Danville for 30 years and a member of Ellisburg Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Doris Richards; two sons, Ernest Richards of Hustonville and Doug Yocum of Lancaster; two sisters, Mary Etta Hale and Joan Roberts, both of Liberty; a brother, James D. Richards of Indianapolis; and six grandchildren. Pallbearers are Ernie and J.D. Richards, Freddie Cook, Carroll Wethington, Michael Hale and Charles Lee Yocum. Honorary pallbearers are Allen Walden and Shane Yocum. Visitation is after 5 p.m. today.
