From the clippings our grandmother kept.  We do not know the date 
or the name of the paper it came from.

W. T. JEWELL, FORMER GRAND RIVERS TEACHER, IS DEAD 
    IN MARION, ILL.

Word has been received here of the death of W. T. Jewell, 65, who 
died at his home at Marion, Ill.  Mr. Jewell formerly resided in 
Livingston county and at one time was principal of the Grand Rivers
high school.

He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Nora Davis Jewell; two sons, 
Ernest and Griffith Jewell; and five daughters, Elzora Jewell, of 
Carbondale, Ill., Mrs. S. J. Spencer, Paducah; Lucille Jewell, 
Springfield, Ill., Elizabeth Jewell, of Quincy, Ill., and Hilda Jewell, of 
California;  a brother, H. B. Jewell, of Smithland; two sister, Mrs. H. P. 
Mitchell and Mrs. J. R. McIntyre; and several grandchildren.
