MRS. BESSIE NICKELL DIES AT GRAND RIVERS Kuttawa, Ky., Oct. 22 (Special)--Mrs. Bessie Holloway Nickell, 68, died at 6:30 a.m. today at her home in Grand Rivers. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 a.m. Sunday at the Grand Rivers Methodist Church with the Rev. A. H. Alexander officiating. Burial will be in Dixon Cemetery at Grand Rivers. Mrs. Nickell and her husband operated the Grand Rivers Hotel for several years. Surviving are her husband, Shelly Nickell; one son, Billy Nickell of Grand Rivers; three daughters, Mrs. Irene Madden of Louisville, Mrs. Frances Travis and Miss Helen Nickell, both of Washington, D. C.; five sisters, Mrs. Emma Ross of Oklahoma City, Mrs. Kate Miller of Coshocton, O., Mrs. Charlene Bradley of Denver, Colo., Mrs. Mamye Morgan of Bumpus Mills, Tenn., and Mrs. Christine Ballthasor of Paducah, and three grandchildren.
