The abstracts and transcriptions were made from LDS Microfilm while researching several families in Logan Co, KY. They consist primarily of families that were of interest to me and are certainly not all the entries. Although I may have additional information about some of the families, I have nothing more from the court entries than you will find here - no need to ask. These are the court orders and do not contain the documents referred to in the orders. Some of the abstracts are little more than the name - I just wanted to make note that person was present at that time. In the case of land entries - these lists usually included several persons, I only noted selected ones. There are often multiple court actions for the same date. In the early years, Logan was a very large county and many people noted here will later live in the counties formed from Logan. It is likely I made errors, either in typing or interpreting poor filming or handwriting, so if you find your family, you may want to view the film for yourself. Personal comments are in brackets. Abstracts from Logan County, Kentucky, Court Orders, Book 3, 1803-1806 The early pages of Book 3 runs concurrently with part of Book 1, but has some different information including transcripts of trials. I cannot explain the duplication in the early court orders. I would be happy to check these for your ancestor if you email me.
