Big Isaac was his blacksmith and his slave, brought with him from Virginia; but Isaac was freed, November 1818, by Whitsitt's children - see Logan Co KY DB G, p.52. The surname Whitsitt is often seen as Whitsett, but was most often spelled as Whitsitt in the Logan Co records.
