Dan M. Gray, 85, of Belleville, IL, born Oct. 22, 1916 in Eddyville, KY, died at his residence Monday, May 6, 2002. He was a retired fruit farmer and a member of Garden Heights Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Alma, nee Purdue, Gray; his parents, Garnett G. and Lala, nee Robinson, Gray; two brothers, Ramey H. Gray and Gilbert Gray; and four sisters, Lue Cindy Gray, Mary Nell Winchester, Rillie May Gray and Edith Irene Shane. Surviving are his wife, Irene, nee Medley, Gray, whom he married July 12, 1957; two brothers, William G. (Louise) Gray of Belleville, Wylie E. (Virginia) Gray of Poplar Bluff, MO; two sisters, Gineve Vaughn of Sikeston, MO and Esther L. Ayers of Poplar Bluff, MO. Interment was in Valhalla Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Belleville, IL.
