From Lexington, Ky. take I-75 South after crossing the Kentucky River Bridge take the first exit in Madison County which is the Clay's Ferry Exit US 25 Strt 421. At the end of the exit ramp turn right. Travel about 1/4 mile to the intersection of US 25 and County Rd 2998. Turn left. Travel about 3/4 of a mile and you will come to a curve. Left of the curve is a gravel driveway. Take the driveway. A few yards up the driveway turns left and up a hill. Follow the driveway to the top of hill graveyard is on the right. This is the a listing of those buried there. Surnames of Hall, Brinegar, Stevens, Whalen, Marshall, Jones, Griffeth, Ratliff, McQueen, Collins, Richardson, Morris, Emmitt, Foster, Brewer Garrett, Young, Lynch, Mayes, Combs, Goins, Bentley, Mobley. Aubrey, Northern, Kelley, Baker, Crawford, Johnson and Thurman The cemetery is rectangular in shape and is in to portion. The first portion is fenced with a chain link fence and has a flag pole in the center. The first portion of the cemetery consists of only 7 graves. The stones for this portion are flat to the ground and because of the grass are hard to see at first. This transcription will show the stones as they actual are written and with any other script.
