Whereupon the said Hawkins and Reeves took the necessary oath and entered into and acknowledged bond in the penalty of $15,000 with Edward Baxter, George Baxter, Will Powell and Henry Brooks Jr their Securities, conditioned as the law directs, And it is further ordered that Henry Brooks Jr, Silas Tribble, Colley A. Queshenberry and John Wheeler or any three of them Who being first sworn do Inventory and Appraise said decd Estate and make Report to this Court. Pg 230, October Court 1822 On the Motion of John Hawkins and George Reeves Adms of William Reeves Decd It is ordered that William Kerley, William Stone, John Patrick and Squire Turner or any three of them who being first sworn do settle with said Adms. And make report to this Court. Additional Comments: George Reeves and John Hawkins administrators of the Estate of William Reeves decd. William Reeves was born in Wake County, North Carolina and migrated to Madison County, Kentucky sometime after 1803.
