Witnesseth that the said Richard Lee and Elizabeth his wife for and In consideration of the Sum of Twenty five pounds to them in hand paid the Receipt thereof they doth hereby Acknowledge and themselves therewith to be fully Satisfied and paid hath given granted bargained and sold and by these Presents doth give grant bargain and sell unto the said Joseph Matthews his heirs and assigns forever all that tract or parcel of land lying and being in Madison County containing one hundred and seven acres be the Same more or less to Wit: Beginning at two beeches ____ Robert's corner thence South to a buckeye and white walnut in the conditional line made between Roberts and Lee, thence South ____ along the said Conditional line to a Buckeye white Walnut and Lin [?] thence with another line of Robert's Part to his corner at two white Walnuts and elm on Green's branch, thence down said Branch to Bond [?] Estill's line, thence with Bond Estill's line to his corner, thence from Bond Estill's corner up [?] said hill as far as is Tilable land, thence with the said Ridge loading down Silver Creek to William Maye's line, thence north with Maye's line until it strikes the Lick Branch making into Silver Creek thence up said Branch to the Beginning with all the Appurtenances to have and to hold the said tract or parcel of land with its appurtenances unto the said Joseph Strahaws [?] his heirs and assigns forever and the said Richard Lee and Elizabeth his wife for themselves and their heirs, executors, and Administrators will warrant and forever defend the said tract or parcel of land with all its appurtenances to the said Joseph Mathews his heirs and assigns forever against all and every person or persons whatsoever.
