Marriage Bonds

Job Dooley-Elizabeth Eades
Know all men by these presents that we Job Dooley and Albert Haines (by
the way - Lewis Edds crossed out) held and firmly bound unto the
Commonwealth of Kentucky in the Just and full sum of 50 pounds current
money to which payment will and truly to be made we bind ourselves our
heirs, jointly severaly by these presents sealed with ours seals and
dated this 27th day of August 1838.
 The Condition of the above obligation is such that whereas there is a
marriage shortly intended to be had and solemnized between the above
bound Job Dooley and Elizabeth Edds, both of the County of Madison.  If
there be no lawful cause to obstruct the same then this obligation to
be void else remain in full force and virtue.
