Biography, LEMASTER, HENRY "APP" Magoffin County, Ky 2004 Submitted by: Joe Conley Joe_Conley@HMIS.ORG *********************************************************************** HENRY "APP" LEMASTER Henry was a son of Benjamin Franklin and Appolina (Howard) Lemaster. There was another Henry Lemaster in the area thus his use of being referred to as Henry "App" or "Hen App". The "App" was referring to him being a son of Appolina or Polina Howard Lemaster. Henry was married to Nora Prater and together they had the following children: Chrystal, Runa, Plyna Catherine, Mitchel, Morris, and Beecher. They made their home in Falcon along with a lot of other Lemaster's. Henry was crippled in one leg. It was hit with an axe on the kneecap by accident and it stayed bowed and stiff for years. He was confined to a wheelchair later in his life. He farmed to make a living and the log home he and his wife shared is now sitting on State Road in Falcon. An addition to this cabin on the backside was not part of the original cabin. Henry died in 1952, about 6 months after his wife Nora. Both are buried in the Smith Adams Cemetery located at Falcon. ************************************************************************* USGENWEB ARCHIVES NOTICE: These electronic pages may NOT be reproduced in any format for profit or presentation by any other organization or persons.
