JOHN HENRY CONLEY 

John Henry was the 3rd child born to Jesse Franklin and Chrystal 
(Lemaster) Conley of Falcon.  He joined the U S Army and served a 
tour of duty in Germany.

It is amusing now to note that when stationed stateside, John Henry
headed for Falcon every chance he got.  He was homesick and ended up 
AWOL on several occasions. 

After the military he headed of to Dayton, Ohio and worked in a box 
manufacturing plant.  He rented and boarded from Sammy Hale Jr and 
his wife Betty. 

He met and married Barbara Lois Pierce and they had 1 child, 
John Samuel Conley. 

John Henry and Barbara made their home in West Alexandria, Ohio.  
They were involved in an auto accident in September 1966 and killed.  
Their 18 mos old infant son survived.  A drunk driver had hit them head on.  

John Henry and Barbara are buried in the Smith-Adams Cemetery 
located at Falcon, alongside his parents and brother, Challis
