Military Rites Held for Harold C. Arnett

   Military Rites were held on September 28, 2006
for Comrade Harold C. Arnett at Magoffin County Funeral
Home by D.A.V. Chapter #15. Comrade Arnett entered the
Armed Forces July 7th, 1943 and was discharged February
25, 1946 with the rank of Seaman First Class U.S.Navy.
Comrade Arnett Medals and ribbons were Pacific Ribbon
with 6 stars, American Theater Ribbon, American Victory
Medal, Navy Unite Citation and Philippines LIberation
Ribbon with 2 stars, Members of the Chapter who  were
present were Melvin Blanton, Paul C. Lemaster, Willard
Risner, A. B. Gose, John E. Carpenter, Wayne Jenkins, 
R. C. Arnett, Ray Shepherd, James C. Montgomer, Roy
"Todd" Preston, Chester Howard, Michael Blanton and
Commander Chester Blanton.
Harold C. Arnett was a lifetime member in good standing
with Disabled American Veterans, Chapter #15, Salyersville,
Kentucky.
