James "Jim" Arnett
Died: Sunday, April 27, 2003
Age: 81

James “Jim” Arnett, 81, of Royalton, died Sunday, April 27, 
at his residence. 

Born March 3, 1922, in Royalton, he was a son of Arbie and 
Margaret Allen Arnett. He was a retired Magoffin County school 
custodian and a member of Gun Creek Church, Royalton.

Survivors include his wife, Elsie Fletcher Arnett of Royalton; 
two sons, Doug Arnett of Royalton and Earnest Ray Arnett of 
La Port, Ind.; a sister, Ethel Trigg of White Pigeon, Mich.; 
three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services were Tuesday, April 29, at Gun Creek Church 
with Revs. Mike Smith, Simon Porter, Grant Cantrell and Larry 
Williams officiating. Burial was in David Minix Family Cemetery, 
Royalton, under direction of Salyersville Funeral Home, Salyersville.
