Claude Allen Jr.
Aug 22, 1927- Aug 4, 2002

MAGOFFIN COUNTY — Claude Allen Jr., 74, of Salyersville died Aug. 4 
at Highlands Regional Medical Center. 

Born Aug. 22, 1927, in Magoffin County, he was a son of Claude Allen Sr
and Theodoshia Hazelett Allen. He was retired from General Motors.
 
He is survived by his wife, Margarette Craig Allen; three sons, Steve 
Allen and Wade Allen, both of LaPorte, Ind., and Eric Toby Allen of 
Finley, Ohio; nine daughters, Claudia Lukac, Connie Ovenmyer of 
Knox, Ind., Vickie Bailey, Neva Rudd and Kisha Allen, all of 
Salyersville, Teresa Howard of Richmond, Sheila Duncan of 
Mt. Sterling and Crystal Allen of Morehead; a stepdaughter, 
Lisa Hensley of Flat Gap; two brothers, Wayne Allen of Salyersville 
and Buddy Jack Allen of Union; five sisters, Juanita Wharton of 
Plymouth, Ind., Geneva Howes of Salyersville, Marietta Kabler of 
Aberdeen, Ohio, Sue Minix of Richmond, and Avanell Howes of 
Felicity, Ohio; 29 grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Thursday, Aug. 8 at the Magoffin County 
Funeral Home chapel. Burial will be at the Cain Cemetery, 
Salyersville, under the direction of the Magoffin County Funeral Home.
