Anna Jewel Cole Cobern, age 61 of Staffordsville, Ky passed away 
Sunday, September 17, 2006 at Highlands Regional Medical Center, 
Prestonsburg, Ky. She was born August 27, 1945 in Magoffin Co., Ky. 
She was a homemaker and amember of the Pentecostal Church. 

She is survived by three sons: Edward Neil Cobern of Warsaw, In., 
Jerald Ray Cobern and Rodney Lee Cobern, both of Staffordsville, Ky; 
two daughters: Vivian Curtis of Keaton, Ky., and Caroletta Green of 
Staffordsville; four brothers: James Cole of Inez, Ky., Arthur Cole of 
Salyersville, Ky., Finley Ray Cole of Marion, Oh., and Jesse Willard Cole 
of Nashville, Tn.; and four sisters: Dottie Caldwell, Betty Cobern, and 
Kathy Salyer, all of Salyersville, and Helen Pennington of Red Bush, Ky. 
She is also survived by 9 grandchildren. 

She is preceded in death by her parents: Lucas Cole and Jessie Gipson Cole. 

Visitation will be Sunday, September 17, 2006, at the Magoffin County Funeral 
Home at 5:00 PM for the family and 6:00 PM for the public, all day Monday, 
September 18, and Tuesday, September 19, until time of services. 

Services will be Tuesday, September 19, 2006 at 11:00 AM at the Magoffin 
County Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Elder James Adams and Herman 
Roberts. Burial will follow at the Cain Cemetery, Salyersville, Magoffin County, Ky.
