She was born February 13, 1931 in Salyersville, KY the daughter of the late Peter and Laura (Ramey) Hunley. On August 11, 1947, she was united in marriage to Ham Jenkins, Jr. who preceded her in death on September 23, 1985. Born to this union were two children: Cynthia Katherine Helton of Beaver, OH and Paul Edward Jenkins of Beaver, OH. Also surviving are five grandchildren: Kimberly (Dennis) Tomlison of Beaver, OH, Michelle (Ron) Knight of Beaver, Christy (Jason) Keller of Piketon, OH, Amanda (Ryan) Southworth of Lucasville, OH and Jonathon Tomas of Waverly, OH; 7 great grandchildren: Deidre (Josh) Nickell of Beaver, OH, Devon Brigner, Catlin Brigner, Mariah Markins, Shayla Knight, Sydney Keller, ,Olivia Southworth and Caleb Tomas; three great great grandchildren: Mikayla Wyke, Makenzie Mallios, and Megan Nickell and a sister: Gertrude Wilson of Salyersville, KY. Larue was saved and joined the church at age 15. She was a dedicated member of the Morgan Fork United Baptist Church and she loved her church family. All who knew her, loved and respected her. Larue was a homemaker. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 8, 2006 at the Morganfork United Baptist Church with Elders Larry Blanton and Arvil Murray officiating. Burial will follow in Jenkins Family Cemetery. Friends may call at the Boyer Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m. Thursday and an hour prior to the service at the church on Friday. Mommy, Granny, when God gave us to you, He gave to us the most beautiful rose that ever bloomed. But roses must fade away as we know now our rose has gone home to Heaven where beautiful roses never fade. We love you always.
