Age: 48

Franklin Lee Carr, 48, of Salyersville, died Sunday, May 2, at 
his residence.

Born Dec. 21, 1955, in Floyd County, he was a son of Daisy Lou 
Lewis Carr of Salyersville, and the late Willie “Bill Jim” Carr. He was 
truck driver.

Additional survivors include his wife, Devella Jane Crace Carr of 
Salyersville; two sons, Matthew Carr and Michael Carr, both of 
Salyersville; three brothers, D. C. Carr and Doug Carr, both of Tram, 
and Earl Carr of Allen; and five sisters, Jackie Jerroll of Martin, Ellen 
Conn of Tram, Phyllis Conn of Pike County, and Lynn Sherman and 
Kathy Sword, both of Allen.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. today, Wednesday, May 5, at 
Salyersville Funeral Home, Salyersville, with Rev. Floyd Arnett officiating. 
Burial will be in Crace Cemetery, Salyersville, under direction of Salyersville
Funeral Home.
