Died: Thursday, April 10, 2003
Age: 59

Andrew Howard Jr., of Buckeye Lake, Ohio, formerly of Magoffin County, died Thursday, April 10.

Born Dec. 30, 1943, in Magoffin County, he was a son of the 
late Andrew and Rosie Hunley Howard. He was a Newark Ohio 
Air Force Base employee and a U.S. Army Vietnam veteran.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, Harold Howard,
Orville Howard and Benny Howard; and a sister, Margret Padgett.

Survivors include his wife, Donna Ray “Kay’ Conley Howard of 
Buckeye Lake; a son, Greg Howard of Buckeye Lake; two daughters, 
Benita Gayle Tutthill and Teresa Kay Altier, both of Buckeye Lake;
two brothers, Edmond Howard of Dayton, Ohio, and Roger Howard 
of Salyersville; four sisters, Opal Faye Powers and Brenda Howard,
 both of Salyersville, Loretta Keaton of Freemont, Ohio, and Estelena Rogerson of Bradenton, Fla.; and a grandchild.

Funeral services were Sunday, April 13, at Magoffin County Funeral 
Home Chapel, Salyersville, with Revs. Buster Blanton and Joe Carroll 
officiating. Military rites were conducted by the Salyersville DAV, 
Chapter 15. Burial was in Hale Cemetery, Hale Fork, under 
direction of Magoffin County Funeral Home.
