Hockworth, age 51, died August 31, 1936 George N. Hockworth, 51, Burlington Township farmer, died at 3:45 o'clock this morning at Oaklawn hospital after an illness of one week. Mr. Hockworth came to Burlington township three years ago from Southern Ohio. He was born February 3, 1885 in Floyd County, Ky. Surviving is his widow, Mrs. Maude Hockworth; four daughters, Mrs. Beatrice Spradlin, McGuffey, Ohio, Mrs. Irene Morley, Battle Creek, Mrs. Rebbecca Puckett, McGuffey, Ohio, and Helen Hockworth at home; one son, Beverly Hockworth, of Burlington Township; his parents Mr. and Mrs.Anthony Hockworth, Iogtoa, Kentucky; four sisters, and two brothers. The body was removed to the Kelser-More Funeral Home.
