MAGOFFIN COUNTY — Beverly Risner, 87, of Royalton died Thursday, 
Aug. 1, at his residence.

Born Jan. 18, 1915, in Floyd County, he was the son of Tommy and 
Tennie Adams Williams. He was retired from CSX Railroad and a 
member of the Royalton United Baptist Church. 

He was preceded in death by his wife, Cassie Risner Williams, 
and five half brothers.

He is survived by seven sons, Clarence Williams, Ellis Williams and 
Russell Williams, all of of Royalton, Shermie Williams of Prestonsburg, 
Chalmer Williams of Litchfield, Mich., Ernest Williams of Gapville, 
and Adis Williams of Salyersville; six daughters, Pearlie Hackworth 
and Wanda Lou Marshall, both of Royalton, Evelee Kilgore, Zeldie 
Williams and Gladys Allen, all of Salyersville, and Hazel Adams of 
Prestonsburg; four half sisters, Ollie, Josephine, Ocie, and Shirley; 
26 grandchildren; and 27 great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Sunday, Aug. 4, at the Magoffin County 
Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in Williams Family Cemetery, 
Puncheon, under the direction of the Magoffin County Funeral Home
