Sept. 9, 1939 - Feb 25, 2001

Roland Russell, age 61, of Salyersville, died Sunday, February 25,.at Paul 
B. Hall Regional Medical Center in Paintsville, after a brief illness.

He was born September 9, 1939 in Magoffm County, the son of the late Fred 
and Felcie Russell.

He was a carpenter and of the Baptist Faith.

Survivors include his wife Suedell Arnett, of Salyersville; five
brothers, Grover Russell, of Corbin, Frank Russell, Johnnie
Russell, Garland Russell, and Fred Russell Jr., all of Salyersville; nine
sisters, Mary Lou Dyer, Phyllis Arnett, Barbara Kay Howard, Bonnie Howard, 
Patty Howard, and Vickie Conley, all of Salyersville, Opal Blanton, of Oil 
Springs, Glinda Kessler, of Tiffin, Ohio and Tammy Tackett, of Michigan.

Also surviving are a host of family and friends who love and miss him.

Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, February 28, at 1 p.m., at 
the Salyersville Funeral Home Chapel, with Mike Smith and Simon Potter officiating.
