Died: Friday, October 10, 2003
Age: 71

Barbara Imogene Caudill Vanderpool, 71, of Cincinnati, Ohio, 
formerly of Salyersville, died Friday, Oct. 10, at East Galbreth 
Nursing Facility, Cincinnati, Ohio.

Born Jan. 16, 1932, in Magoffin County, she was a daughter of 
the late Emerson and Ruby Trimble Caudill. She was a homemaker 
and a member of Stinson United Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by three sisters.

Survivors include her husband, Carl Joseph Vanderpool of 
Cincinnati; two sons, Gary Vanderpool of Taylor Mill and Byran 
Timothy Vanderpool of Cincinnati; three sisters, Garnett Smith 
of Cincinnati, Alene Allen of Prestonsburg and Elma Carroll of 
Salyersville; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were Tuesday, Oct. 14, at Magoffin County Funeral 
Home Chapel, Salyersville, with Revs. Joe Carroll, Buster Blanton 
and Carl Howard officiating. Burial was in Bluegrass Cemetery, 
Salyersville, under direction of Magoffin County Funeral Home.
