Henry Robert Welch
Died: Friday, October 17, 2003
Age: 53

Henry Robert Welch, 53, of Salyersville, died Friday, Oct. 17, at 
his residence after a long illness.

Born Oct. 15, 1950, in Magoffin County, he was a son of Herman 
Francis of Salyersville, and the late Jewell Francis. He was a UPS driver 
and a Vietnam Army veteran.

Additional survivors include his wife, Barbara McCarty Welch of 
Salyersville; a daughter, Claudine Bailey of Salyersville; two brothers, 
Ricky Francis and William Francis, both of Salyersville; a sister, Brenda 
Daniels of Paintsville; and a grandchild.

Funeral services were Sunday, Oct. 19, at Salyersville Funeral Home 
with Beecher McCarty Jr. and Justin Williams officiating. The 
Salyersville Chapter 15 DAV conducted military rites. Burial was in 
Beecher and Gustava McCarty Cemetery, Stinson, under direction 
of Salyersville Funeral Home.
