Died: Thursday, October 16, 2003
Age: 65

Dorothy Workman, 65, of Pikeville, formerly of Salyersville, died 
Thursday, Oct. 16, at Pikeville Methodist Hospital.

Born Oct. 29, 1937, in Magoffin County, she was a daughter of 
the late Lonzie and Georgia Hampton Workman. She was a 
homemaker.

Survivors include three sons, Bobby Dean Scott of Salyersville 
and Wesley Salyers and Darrin Salyers, both of Pikeville; three 
daughters, Willetta Spears, Burnetta Salyers, and Regina Salyers, 
all of Pikeville; two sisters, Reva Mounts and Sue Workman, both 
of Salyersville; four brothers, Willard Workman and Donnie 
Workman, both of Blountsville, Ind., and Winford Workman and 
Ervin Workman, both of Salyersville; 15 grandchildren; and two 
great grandchildren.

Funeral services were Monday, Oct. 20, at Salyersville Funeral Home. 
Burial was in Tackett Cemetery, Route 40, Salyersville, under direction 
of Salyersville Funeral Home.
