Born November 7, 1933, in Magoffin County, Kentucky, Nola was a daughter of the late Willie Collett and Sina Caudill Collett. She was a homemaker and member of Walnut Grove Primitive Baptist Church. She was united in marriage to Ercil Ward July 1, 1950. He survives. Also surviving in addition to her husband are two sons and daughters-in-law, Dr. Edward and Patricia Ward, and James Manuel and Pan Ward, all of West Liberty; 7 grand children; 1 great grandchild; three sisters, Virginia Ward of Salyersville, Elsie Collins of Paintsville, and Barbar Willoughby of Mount Sterling. Funeral services were conductc at l:O0p.m. Sunday, October 15, Herald and Stewart and Hals Funeral Chapel with Elder Jerry Brown, Elder Teddy Montgomey and Elder Roy Collett officiatir Burial followed in the Wheeler and Walnut Grove Cemetery, Hwy 191, West Liberty, with Herald a Stewart and Halsey Funeral Home of West Liberty in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers were friends and relatives.
