Pennington, Netti Owens 
April 23,1929-Sept 4, 2005

Funeral services will be held Friday, September 9, 11 a.m. 
at the Pigeon Enterprise Baptist Church for Netti Owens Pennington, 
76, of Springfield, Ohio, formerly of Oil Springs, Ky., who passed away 
Sunday, September 4 at Community Hospital in Springfield, Ohio. 

Mrs. Pennington was born April 23, 1929 in Magoffin County, Ky., 
daughter of the late Manuel and Ella Tackett Meade. She was a 
homemaker. 

She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Corbit Owens, 
and second husband, Eudell Pennington. 

Surviving are five sons, Scotty (Sandy) Owens of Indiana, Bobby 
(Wilma) Owens of Oil Springs, Ky., and Troy (Tammy), Jessie 
(Karen), and Michael (Michelle) Owens, all of Springfield, Ohio;
 three daughters, Josephine (Larry) Collins of Springfield, Ohio, 
Judy (Jerry) Hatfield of Staffordsville, Ky., and Edith (Ken) Damner 
of Jefferson, Mo.; one brother, Richard Meade of Oil Springs, Ky.; 
one sister, Virgie Caudill of Jacksonville, Fla.; and 22 grandchildren 
and three great-grandchildren. 

The service will be officiated by Paul Dean Mean and Mike Ferguson, 
with burial following in the Cantrell Family Cemetery at Oil Springs, Ky.
 Arrangements under the direction of the Jones-Preston Funeral Home 
of Paintsville, Ky.
