Reed, Una Mae Vanover -1912 - 2005 

Una Mae Vanover Reed, 92, of Salyersville, died Tuesday, 
Aug. 2, at her residence. 

Born Aug. 12, 1912, at Elsie, she was a daughter of the late 
Francis "'Sonny" and Esther Reed Vanover. She was a 
retired school teacher and member of Kernie Freewill Baptist 
Church. 

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Rube Reed; 
four brothers, Amos, Everett, Emmons, and Dawson Vanover; 
and a sister, Elsie Rice.  

Survivors include two daughters, Aileen Reed of Elsie and Patsy Reed 
Adams of Morehead; a sister, Edith Bailey of Greenup; and four grandchildren. 

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. today, Friday, Aug. 5, at Magoffin 
County Funeral Home Chapel, Salyersville with Otto "Butch" Whitaker 
officiating. 

Burial will be in Patrick-Lovely Cemetery, Johnson Fork, under 
direction of Magoffin County Funeral Home.
