Dexter V. Risner, 73, of Mansfield died Thursday afternoon, August 21, 
2003 at MedCentral Mansfield after an extended illness. Mr. Risner was 
born March 27, 1930 in Magoffin County, Kentucky living in the 
Mansfield area the past 47 years. He retired from the Charles Hoffman Company 
after 20 years. Mr. Risner enjoyed traveling and gardening.

He is survived by his wife, Jean (Everhart) Risner of Mansfield; two 
daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia & Matthew Janisch and Debbie & 
Terry See, all of Mansfield; a son and daughter-in-law, David & Debra Risner 
of Mansfield; six grandchildren, Adam, Jennifer, Matthew, Jeremy, 
Michael and Amy; a great-granddaughter, Sierra; four sisters, Darlene 
Blockman, Marie Hanners, Glossie Gaskins and Lucy Eismon; three 
brothers, Wallen, Hagar and Paul Risner; and numerous nieces and 
nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Earnie & Ina (Hensley) Risner;
 a sister, Della McMillen; and four brothers, Earnie, (Derb) Wilburn, 
Warnie and Troy Risner.

Friends may call at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors 
Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Monday at 1:00 p.m. 
at the funeral home conducted by Rev. Terry Zerby. Burial will follow in 
Mansfield Cemetery
