Interment: April 04, 2008 at Greenlawn Memory Gardens 

 

Mr. Salyer was born in Salyersville, Kentucky to the late Harmon and Lona
(Honaker) Salyer. He moved to Clyde in the 1950's with his wife, Mattie (Rowe) 
Salyer, who preceded him in death on October 7, 1995. 

He is survived by a son, Danny Salyer of Clyde and daughter, Veda (Steven) 
Doebel of Clyde. Three grandchildren also survive, Melissa; Josh; and Ryan as 
well as three siblings, Wilbur Salyer of Norwalk; Glen Salyer of Willard and 
Betty Powers of Middletown. 

He was preceded in death by a sister, Mae Patten. 
 
Charles was a WWII Army veteran; a member of the Harvest Temple Church; the 
Masonic Temple and the Zenobia Shrine.
