1915 - 2006

Emily M. Salyer, age 91, of Willard, passed away Friday, Oct. 20, 2006 
at the MedCentral Hospital in Mansfield. She was born July 11, 1915 
in Seitz, KY to the late Dudley and Rebecca (Trusty) Montgomery and 
had been a resident of Willard most of her life. She was a member of the 
Willard Church of God. She was a seamstress for many years, operating a 
fabric shop out of her home.

She is survived by her husband, Harold Salyer whom she wed on 
March 22, 1968 ; daughter and son-in-law, Frances & Tony Watkins of 
Willard; step-daughter, Sandy Sword of Willard; step-son, Ronnie Salyer 
of Bradner, OH; three grandchildren; two step grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and one brother, J.C. Montgomery of Alabama.

She is preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Edgar , Langley, 
and Junior Montgomery; and four sisters, Georgia Montgomery, Onesia 
Watson, Fannie Mae King, and Mary Ethel Fletcher.

Visitation will be Monday, October 23, 2006 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the 
Secor Funeral Home in Willard. The funeral service will be Tuesday, 
October 24, 2006 at 11:00 AM at the Willard Church of God on Willard West 
Road, with Pastor Greg Griffith officiating. Burial will be at the Maple Grove Cemetery in New Haven, Ohio. Memorials may be made to family. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.secorfuneralhome.com
