1923 - 2006

Funeral services will be held today, Dec. 29, 10 a.m. at the 
Preston Funeral Home Chapel for Glen Saylor, 83, of Oil Springs, Ky., 
who passed away Monday, Dec. 25 at his residence.

Mr. Saylor was born March 16, 1923 in Magoffin County, Ky., son 
of the late Garfield and Lula Blanton Saylor. He was a metal worker.

Surviving are his wife, Anna Dooley Saylor of Oil Springs; two sons, 
Glen Saylor Jr. of Springfield, Ohio, and Voris Saylor of Oil Springs;
 three step-sons, James Jones of Springfield, Glennie Jones of Tuscan, 
Ariz., and Lawrence Dooley of Springfield; one daughter, Wanda Sue Brown 
of Las Vegas, Nev.; four step-daughters, Kathy Spradlin of Meally, Ky., 
Shirley Graham of Springfield, Sharon Williams of Savannah, Ga., and 
Linda Chan of Tuscan; one sister, Jewell Pennington of Salyersville, Ky.; 
and nine grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

The service will be officiated by Joe Adkins, with burial following in the 
Newcomers Cemetery in Springfield.

Arrangements under the direction of the Preston Funeral Home 
of Paintsville, Ky.
