Ella Mae Murphy Stephens, age 78 of Salyersville, passed away Friday, 
July 28, 2006 at the Salyersville Health Care Center, Salyersville, Ky. She was 
born August 15, 1927 in Johnson Co., Ky. She was a homemaker and a member 
of the Eastern Star, Magoffin Chapter 562. 

She is survived by two sons: Dale Stephens and David Stephens, 
both of Salyersville. 

He is preceded in death by her husband: Donnie Dale Stephens, her parents: 
Irvin Murphy and Myrtle Allen Patrick; two sons: Stanley Arnett and Jerry Arnett; 
and one grandson: Freddie Arnett. 

Visitation will be Saturday, July 29, 2006, at the Magoffin County Funeral 
Home at 12:00 PM Noon for the family and 1:00 PM for the public, all day 
Sunday, July 30, and Monday, July 31, until time of services. 

Services will be Monday, July 31, 2006 at 11:00 AM at the Magoffin County 
Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Samuel Allen. Burial will follow at the 
Birch Patrick Cemetery, Bloomington, Magoffin County, Ky.
