Gretchel Howard Tackett, age 65 of Salyersville, passed away 
Friday, September 15, 2006 at St. Joseph Hospital, Lexington, Ky. 
She was born February 23, 1941 in Magoffin County, Ky. She was 
a homemaker and a member of the White Oak Grove Primative Baptist Church. 

She is survived by her husband: Harold Tackett; her parents: 
Courtney Howard and Carrie Howard Howard; one daughter: 
Pamela Puckett of Salyersville; three sisters: Shirley Hall of Ohio, 
Janice Brown of West Liberty, and Jeanetta Preston of Salyersville; 
two grandchildren: Katrina Bain and Tiffany Jones; and four great 
grandchildren: Karringtyn Bain, Keyairra Bain, Khauner Bain, and Brayden Jones. 

Visitation will be Saturday, September 16, 2006, at the Magoffin County 
Funeral Home at 5:00 PM for the family and 6:00 PM for the public, all day 
Sunday, September 17, and Monday, September 18, until time of services. 

Services will be Monday, September 18, 2006 at 2:00 PM at the Magoffin 
County Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Timothy Tackett. Burial will 
follow at the Moses Howard Cemetery, Coon Creek, Magoffin County, Ky.
