This cemetery is located on the west side of KY Highway 337, between a field and the riparian tree line on the south side of the North Rolling Fork River, approximately 3 miles south of Gravel Switch, KY, in eastern Marion County. At present there is only one marker (Perry's) and field stone. The cemetery is laid out 15 X 5, for a maximum of 75 burials, though it is not known how many burials are actually there. This is the family cemetery of Perry Tharp who first settled the area. Perry (Periah) was a Revolutionary War Soldier from PA, having enlisted in Monongahela, PA, rank of private. He participated in the battles of Paoli, Germantown, and Bound Brook according to his pension papers.
