DISASTROUS. A deplorable calamity happened last week in Marshall county, Ky. A
tree on the farm of Mr. Thomas REED was struck by lightning. Two sons of Mr.
Reed were instantly killed and two others were severely injured, one of whom is
not expected to recover. Two horses were also killed by the stroke. (from the
