ATLANTA, Texas-Rue "Pop" Castleberry, 98, of Atlanta died Sunday, March 20,
2005, in Atlanta.

Mr. Castleberry was born Sept. 21, 1906, in Benton, Ky. He was a retired
shop foreman for Arthur Tickle's Engineering Co., Brooklyn, N.Y., and
attended First Baptist Church, Queen City, Texas. He was preceded in death
by two sons, Richard Castleberry and Lawrence Castleberry.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy "Dot" Castleberry of Atlanta; one son,
Michael Castleberry of Centennial, Colo.; one daughter, Joan Humphrey of
Atlanta; and one sister, Laura Jane Portis of Benton; 24 grandchildren; 30
great-grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren.

Memorial services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Hanner Funeral Home with Joe
Anderson officiating.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
