Obit: Hattie Blackburn Chandler, December 23, 1997, Ironton, Ohio Contributed for use in UsGenWeb Archives by Magi Robinson, magi@modempool.com Hattie Blackburn Chandler 1940 ~ 1997 Hattie Blackburn Chandler, 57, of Ironton, Ohio (formerly of Martin County), died Tuesday, December 23, 1997 at her home. She was born December 23, 1940 in Pilgrim to Hayes and Flora Moore. Mrs. Chandler was a retired merchant. She was affiliated with the Church of Christ for 25 years. Preceded in death by her husband, Richard Lee Chandler, she is survived by one son, Richard Lee Chandler Jr. of Columbus, Ohio; two daughters, Pamela Gay Justice of Columbus, Ohio, Earlean Porter of Clyde, Ohio, and Loraine Bowens and Tammy Lynn Bowens, both of Pilgrim: and one brother, Mitchell E. Moore of Pilgrim. Funeral services were conducted Friday at Richmond-Callaham Funeral Home, Warfield, with Don Fannin and Glen Ray Moore officiating. Burial took place in the Preece-Gauze Cemetery.
