Will: Goble, Elbe, 1921-Martin Co., KY Book 1 Pg# 182 Elbe Goble Will I, Elbe Goble of Martin County, Kentucky being of full age and of sound mind and memory, do make publish and declare this to my Last Will and Testament 1. I direct that all my just debts and funeral for and my wife be paid out of my estate as soon as practicable after my decease. 2. All property real and personal any kind and description where ever siuated which I may own or have the right to dispose at the time of my decease. I gave bequeath and devise to Vissa Bowen my daughter one house & lot in Inez, Ky may home lot lying between J.E. Maynard and Will Whites the lot where I now live and all the House goods is to go with the house and lot to Visa Bowen also I gave bequath and devise to my sonin law J.A. Bowen 1/2 of the store House and lot being in Inez, Ky Martin Co. bemine the lot G.D. Maynard & Alice Kirk let this being my entire intrust in house and lot all of store house furniture is to go to J.A. Bowen which I have in store house at the time of I and my wifes decease. J.A. Bowen is to pay ($800.00) Eight Hundred dollars to of my children J.W. Goble, Susan Bowen, Ella James, Lizzie Mills divided equally among them as soon as possible if there is any goods in house at the time of I and wifes decease J.A. Bowen is to have 1/2 of them and Bal equally diveded with my 6 children or paid for in cash as soon as possible. J.A. Bowen is to see that me and wife a taken cair of as long as we both live and also I gave to bequeath and devise to my son L.J. Goble 15 achers of land lying between J.A. Bowen and L.J. Goble. This etire will is in my own hand write. Dated at Inez, Ky Oct. 10th, 1921 Elbe Goble State of Kentucky County of Martin/ Sct. I, J.S. Cassady,Clerk of the county court of the county and state aforesaid certify that on the 14th day of November, 1921, it being the first day of the regular term of the Martin County Court, the foregoing instrument together with another instrument of writing was produced to in court and offered for probate and R.L. Hale and Martin R. Allen was sworn and questioned in court under oath and state each of them that they were Cashier and assistant cashier of the Inez Deposit Bank and that the deceased Elbe Goble had done his banking business through said bank and that they were acquainted with the writing of the deceased Elbe Goble and that they and each of them identified the signature to said writing was that of Elbe Goble and the writing composing the said instrument was the writing or hand writing of said Elbe Goble Dec. It was therefore adjudged by the court that the instrument dated Oct. 10th or the one above was and is the Last Will and Testament of Elbe Goble late of Inez, Martin County, Kentucky and that same be probated as such. It was ordered by the court that said instrument of writing be recorded as the Last Will and Testament of said Elbe Goble, Dec., which accordingly is hereby done.
