Will: Setser, William, 1920-Martin Co. KY THE LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT of Wm Setser. I, Wm Setser being of sound mind and knowing the uncertainty of life make this my last Will and Testament. (1) I hereby will and bequeath to Sarah Setser my wife the sum of $1.00 to be paid out of my estate. (2) I will and bequeath to Frank Setser my son, the sum of $5.00 Five Dollars to be paid out of my estate. (3) I will and bequeath to Laura Setser my daughter the sum of $5.00 Five dollars to be paid out of my estate. (4) I will and bequeath to Roland Setser my brother the sum of $100.00 One Hundred dollars in cash to be paid out of my estate. (5) All the rest of my property both personal and real I hereby bequeath and will to John Setser my brother. I hereby appoint my brother John Setser as my executor without bond to carry out the provisions of this will. I further authorize my brother to use a wise discretion with reference to my two children, should they or either of them try to do any good and make an honest living to help them in any manner he think proper. At a county court began and held in and for the county of Martin at the courthouse in the town of Eden on Monday April 11, 1921, the regular Judge. Hon. L.P. Aldridge residing. This day a paper purporting to be the Last Will and Testament of Wm.(Marion) Setser, was produced to the court for probate and the same being read aloud by the clerk of this court and was examined by the court and proven in open court by Emery Delong one of the attesting witnesses and by U. S. Hall who wrote the will that said Wm.(Marion) Setser signed and acknowledged the said will in their presence and in the presence of each other and that they signed their names as witnesses in the presence of said Wm (Marion) Setser as and for the Last Will and Testament of said Setser and that he then and there in their presence acknowledged the same to be his act and deed. The coourt being advised adjudges said paper to be the Last Will and Testament of said William Marion Setser and orders that the clerk of this court record the same among the will records of his office as the Last Will and Testament of said Setser.It appearing that John Setser by the terms of said will was appointed the executor of said will, came and taken the oath required by law, he not being required to execute bond as such as the will provides that he shall qualify as and act as such without bond. The said will and orders of the court as above act out is hereby admited to record in my said office as above, which is a true transcript of the will and orders probating same.
