File transcribed and contributed for use in the USGenWeb Archives by Kari (KNort21285@aol.com) Jan. 1999 ************************************************************************************ I typed up the following for a Dye mailing list I am on. There are enough other surnames mentioned that I thought the Mason Co., list would also be interested. There were other deed extracts listed on the pages I copied - if there is interest I could transcribe some more for the list. These are the Dye names in Books A & B I had jury duty Monday and had an hour off for lunch - the courthouse is a block away from the Ft. Worth library so I spent my hour in there. I xeroxed all the Dye's I saw in a book titled "Mason County Kentucky Deed Book A-L 1789-1810 Abstracts": Note: First person listed is the seller (grantor), second is the buyer (grantee). Tr = Transaction, Desc. = Description and Surnames noted, Wt = Witnesses, Clerk = Clerk of Court. These are extracts - the actual deed has more wording to it.
