The service was connected by the Rev. W. W. Spates of Shannon and Sardis charge. Mr. Gal- breath had reached the mature age of seventy- seven years and was highly respected and loved by all who knew him. He leaves twelve children and a widow to morn his loss, who will have the deepest sympathy of the surrounding community." Additional Comments: The following article appeared in Maysville Bulletin,Thursday, June 14, 1883 page2, column 8, a week before the death notice: "Dr. Gault, of Murphsville, passed through our village Sunday morning on his way to visit Uncle George Galbriath, who is quite ill from a dog bite.
