Location: 

Proceeding from Exit 4 on I-24, turn west onto US-60 and head west approximately 5 miles to the 
intersection of US-60 with KY-726. Turn left onto KY-726 and head south approximately 2 miles to the 
intersection of Childress Road with KY-726. Turn left onto Childress Road and travel approximately 1.6 
miles to the 4-way stop intersection of Childress Road with Gholson Road. Go straight through the 
intersection and travel approximately 0.4 miles to the junction of Childress Road with Wilson Road. Turn 
right onto Wilson Road and travel approximately 0.5 miles to the end of Wilson Road. The cemetery is 
located on the left hand side of Wilson road at the dead end. It should be noted that on official county 
maps produced by the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, Wilson Road is listed as Scott Cemetery Road, but the 
sign at the road junction reads "Wilson Road".

History: 

History of this cemetery is unknown by me, but appears to have belonged to, and is still used by, the Scott 
family. There are headstones and footstones that are placed around a large tree in the cemetery. These were 
probably moved to ease mowing, but three of the stones are "Reeves" headstones and the graves are now 
unmarked.
