In a suit filed in the circuit court by the First National bank against J. E. Wilhelm, etc., and the estate of Mrs. M. E. Beadles an attachment is asked against the property of Mrs. Mary Bains including her interest in the old Beadles home place at Fifth and Jefferson streets and a house and lot on Fountain avenue. The suit is brought to recover on notes amounting to $1,400.00 which were executed to the bank by the Reister Newspaper company with James E. Wilhelm, Ella B. Wilhelm and M. E. Beadles as securities, and on a note for $2750.00 executed by James and Ella B. Wilhelm as principals and M. E. Beadles as surety, the total amount sued for being $4180.00. The attachment against Mrs. Bains property is based on the claim that the property was received from her mother's estate before the note for which the mother was liable was paid. Suit, asking that the property owned by Mrs. Ella B. Willhelm be sold to satisfy a judgment rendered against the same parties in favor of the Globe Bank and Trust company for $5,500.00 was filed yesterday. Attorney D. G. Park represented the plaintiffs in both actions.
