Wilhelm died at the family residence on North Fifth St. in Paducah Sat. at 3 PM. The immediate cause of death being t.b. In Dec. 1896 (sic 1906?) had taken firm hold upon the system weaken by the unchecked ravages of cold, produced t.b. Ella Beadles Wilhelm was born in Mayfield 3-31- 1861 being the daughter of William and Mary Beadles. Shortly after her birth her parents removed to Paducah where she and they have sinced resided. Hon. Wm. Beadles in the late years of the Civil War founded the First National Bank of that city of which institution he was president up to his death in 1893. She was a member fo the First Baptist Church of Paducah. On 10-19-1887 she was married to James E. Wilhelm, the president of the Register Newspaper Co., their union was a true marriage wherein the bodies, minds and spirits of the twain became one. This union was sanctioned by the birth of four children: Ella B., Wm. B., Amanda and James E. Wilhelm, Jr., all of whom survive their mother. Besides her husband and children she is survived by one sister Mrs. G. W. Bains of Birmingham, Ala. and many near relatives in Mayfield, Wingo and Fulton.
