She dated this article 1939. MRS. GIBBS MARRIES GARVIS AKERS, SR. The marriage of Mrs. Margie Gibbs, Princeton, and Garvis Lee Akers, this city, was solemnized Sunday afternoon, December twenty-fourth, at half past two o'clock at kthe residence of R. G. Emery, minister of the Church of Christ. The only attendants were Mr. and Mrs. Fred Enderlin, of Lone Oak. The bride wore a frock of teal blue with black accessories. Mr. Akers is a machinist at the Illinois Centrail Railroad shops. He and his bride are at home at 328 Elizabeth Street.
