Submitted by: Vera Burnham Date: June 21, 2002 **************************************************************************** Will Book A McCracken County, Kentucky Page 79 In the name of God Amen I Anna Watson of the County of McCracken and State of Kentucky, do make my last will and Testament in manner and form as follows (Viz) 1st, After the payment of my funeral expences, my will and desire is that my executor herein after named shall in addition to a note I hold upon John Donly of thirteen dollars 87/100, made from the sale of my hogs the sum of thirty seven dollars which I wish applied to the last payment of my part of the land which Brother Benj. Watson & myself purchased of C. James Thomas, lying on Mayfield Creek & ----? agreeable to an agreement between my said Brother Benj. & myself, and as there has been no rights conveyed by the said Thomas except the assignment of the certificate to my sd. brother Benj. Watson my will and desire is that as soon as my said brother obtains a patent for said land that he convey my said part of the same by deed in fee simple to my niece Eveline Watson which I give to her & her heirs forever. I also give and bequeath to my said neice Eveline Watson my sorrel mare & side saddle. 2nd, I Give to my brother Benj. Watson one sorrel colt to him and his heirs forever 3rd, I give to my brother Samuel Watson one cow called Blaze and calf 4th, I give to my niece Rosaly Godsey one feather bed & furniture 5th, I give to my sister Sally Farmer one cow called ---? & calf 6th, The residue of my estate which I have not disposed of after the payment of my just debts, I give and bequeath to my said niece Eveline Watson to her and her heirs 7th My wish and desire is that my executor rent the land which I have given to sd. niece Evaline Watson annually for her benefit and that he take her under his arm and protection as long as she remains single. 8th, I do hereby constitute and appoint my brother Benj Watson executor of this my last will and testment hereby revoking all other former wills or testaments heretofore made In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this 10th day of September 1835 Anna (X) Watson (seal) her mark Witness William T.
