Location: From Oneida go NNW on the Big Ridge Rd. to Foster's Crossroads. The distance from US 27 to Foster's Crossroads is about 7.1 miles. Between Foster's Crossroads and the Crossroads Church, a road turns SW. Continue on this road 1.6 miles toward Williams Creek. The cemetery is to the left (South) of the road. Mr Stephens own words for including this Tennessee cemetery in his McCreary County, Kentucky Cemetery books are as follows. "This cemetery is located about one mile from the KY/TN boundary in Tennessee. We included it, because of the obvious connections of family members buried here, to those families that moved on down the Big South Fork of the Cumberland to Kentucky. Really if the original latitude line 36 degrees 30' as it was begun on the Atlantic seaboard had continued, this part of Tennessee should have been Kentucky. A surveyor's error made the difference. Many of the people who lived here, Watters, Waters, Boyatt, Slavens, and Watsons, who are the forerunners of others with the same family names, had their counterparts in Kentucky."
