Davis has operated his dry goods and clothing store here for the past two years, and while he has not been engaged in business here as long as many other stores, yet from the first day that he announced himself ready for business he has enjoyed a fine patronage, and his store is growing in popularity. The store is growing in popularity for the reason that he carried a stock of high quality merchandise; sells at popular prices, backs up his business with advertising, and the public has learned that when he offers a special it is a real bargain, and the number of customers is being constantly increased. He has already received much new fall and winter stock, and all will find it of interest to call and see the new styles and designs. He also has special displays of children's school clothes, and parents will find him in a position to supply everything that the kiddies will need to wear to school at prices that will appeal to all. With a store like the A.H. Davis Clothing Company being operated here in Williamsburg, there is no need for any citizen to leave here to secure the best styles and the best values.
