FROM THE WEST UNION ASSOCIATION OF UNITED BAPTISTS MINUTES, 1954

Boyatt, Mrs. Rachel---Wife of the late Lewis Harvey Boyatt, passed 
away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Eva West, Tuesday, 
November 3, 1953. Her husband preceded her in death by 1 month and 
18 days.

She was a member of the United Baptist Church and was a faithful 
member until death.

Survivors are: 3 sons, Willie, Fred and Lester Boyatt, all of 
Oneida; 6 daughters, Mrs. Florence Maxwell, Mrs. Eva West, Mrs. 
Lola Slaven, Mrs. Mavis Slaven, Mrs. Dorothy Foster, all of 
Oneida, and Mrs. Nola Tapley of Pine Knot, Ky., and 1 sister, 
Mrs. Millie Stephens of Oklahoma. 62 grandchildren and 34 great 
grandchildren.

Burial was in Foster Cross Roads Cemetery. We feel our loss is 
her eternal gain in glory.
